Real Estate Agents - Your Prospects Don't Want to Talk to You

June 7, 2011, 2:06 pm

I may have ruffled a few feathers with the title, but in all honesty, it's true. Your prospects don't want to talk with you. That's the reality of the new Gen X and Gen Y buyer. They text not call. To many of them, email is so yesterday. They get their information from the internet. They rely on opinions of friends via social media. They turn to business people who share information in the same way they do. Are you communicating with these buyers in the way they are accustomed to?

QR Codes and Mobile Websites

February 4, 2011, 3:02 pm

At the National Association of Realtors annual convention in November, the word was: QR codes and mobile websites. Specifically, our expertise is in real estate internet marketing, creating virtual tours, posting real estate listings on Craigslist, and website enhancement.

Just like accounting services, marketing services are integral to the success of our business. Today we have an exciting opportunity to reach out to customers in a personal way and target them more cost-effectively than ever before.

QR Codes - What are they and do I need them?

You may be seeing these strange little symbols popping up everywhere. I've noticed them in the coupon section of Sunday's paper and in my latest Oprah Magazine. The use of QR codes is exploding. They come to us from Japan where they are very common. QR is short for Quick Response (they can be read quickly by a cell phone).

Six Steps to Effective Social Marketing

No matter which social networking sites you use (FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn), you need to find ways to increase the number of people interested in hearing what you have to say. Otherwise your efforts to network will leave you without contacts or influence.
